Booking requests
Requests from your website, and answering them in one click.
When somebody asks for a time through your public booking page it arrives as a request, not as an appointment. Nothing lands on your calendar until you say so.
The inbox is a queue
Oldest first, deliberately — a request from Tuesday should not be pushed down the page by one from this morning.
Answering
Opening a request works out up to five real times that would actually fit, searching the week from the date they asked for. Pick one and it books. If the time you choose has stopped working while the request sat there, it says why and the request stays waiting rather than half-processing.
Declining
A decline needs a reason, and the reason goes to them. Silence is what makes somebody ring round three other salons and never come back.
