Dog daycare software
A hundred dogs in and out, without a clipboard.
Dog daycare software for high volume and the same dogs most days. The morning rush is the design constraint.
A sample Bandana screen for daycare.
What that actually changes
-
Fast check-in
Tick the dogs in the 7am queue and check them in with one button. A dog due in with a lapsed or missing required vaccine is flagged, and a manager has to tick Check in anyway. A dog whose vaccinations have lapsed cannot be put out in a playgroup, and the client record shows what is out of date.
-
Opening and closing checklists
Write the opening, closing and cleaning routines once, and the team ticks them off each day with a record of who did what.
-
Playgroups with a size limit
Yards for big dogs and small dogs, each with a cap, and a record kept of which dogs went out in which group each day.
All of this is included
Every business type gets the whole system, not a cut-down version of it.
- Scheduling The calendar and how it gets filled
- Operations The day itself, and who does what
- Payments Checkout, card payments and the day's totals
- Client experience Booking, reminders and report cards
Run a different kind of business?
How it works in detail
- Playgroups and checklists — Who can play together, and the jobs that have to happen.
- Arrivals and departures — Who is coming in, who is here, and who is going home.
- Who is in the building — The occupancy grid, and printable cards for the run doors.
- Vaccinations — Recording a vaccine or shot record, and where the warnings show up.
- Writing up an incident — A bite, an escape, a slip — and why you cannot edit one afterwards.
