Help · Getting started
Bringing your clients across
Moving clients, pets, history and future bookings from another system.
We do this for you rather than handing you a spreadsheet template. Send us an export from your current system and we will import your services, clients, pets, past appointments and any bookings already in the calendar.
What to send
CSV files, which most systems export from a settings or reports screen. The import reads CSV only, so if you can only get a PDF or a printout, tell us before you commit to switching and we will work out with you what is possible.
Running it twice is safe
Every imported record remembers where it came from, so re-running an import updates what is already there instead of creating a second copy of every client. That means we can do a practice run now and a final one the night before you switch.
What does not come across
Invoices, payments, report cards, vaccination records and notes kept on a client's record stay in your old system. Repeating bookings arrive as single appointments, so set the repeat again for clients who have one.
Card details never transfer — no system can hand them to another, and anyone who offers to is doing something they should not. Clients re-enter a card the first time they pay. Saved cards can be collected ahead of time by emailing clients a card-on-file link, so the first day is not spent typing card numbers.
