Signing in
Passwords, a forgotten login, and why there is no public sign-up.
Staff sign in with their email address and a password. Nobody can add themselves to your salon — staff accounts are created by somebody at your salon who already has one, which is what stops a stranger adding themselves to your client list. Starting a new salon from our website, when that is open, creates a separate business, never a way into yours.
A forgotten password
Use the reset link on the sign-in page. It emails a link that works once and then expires. Nobody at Bandana can read your password or tell you what it was — it is not stored in any form that can be read back.
Somebody who should not have got in
Change the password first — that ends it immediately — and then tell us. Anything done while they were in is on the record against that account, so we can work out together what was touched.
The help center works signed out on purpose. Somebody who cannot get in is exactly the person who needs to read something.
