Refunds
Giving money back, in part or in full.
Find the payment on the invoice and choose Refund. You can refund all of it or part of it. A card refund goes back to the same card and takes a few days to appear on their statement — that is the bank, not us.
Refunds are their own permission
Somebody who can take payment cannot necessarily give money back. That is deliberate and worth keeping: refunding is the one action at the desk that moves money out of the business.
A refund is recorded as its own entry rather than by editing the original payment. Your sales for last week do not change because of something you did today.
A refund is an amount against a payment, with a reason, not a particular line of the invoice.
Not available yet Refunding a single line of an invoice, such as an add-on.
