Moving or cancelling
Dragging on the calendar, and whether the client gets told.
Drag the appointment to its new time. The slot colors while you drag: green will take it, red will not, and letting go on red tells you why rather than silently snapping back.
Does the client find out?
Only if you tick the box. Moving something by ten minutes to tidy the morning should not send a text; moving it to Thursday should. You decide each time, and the choice is remembered on the appointment so it is clear afterwards what was sent.
Cancelling
Open the appointment and choose Cancel. It stays on the record rather than vanishing, because a client who cancels three times in a row is something you want to be able to see.
