Booking a standing appointment
Every six weeks, same groomer, same time — set once while they are on the phone.
Tick "Repeat this" when you book, choose how many weeks apart, and the next six months go in the calendar at once. Same pet, same service, same groomer, same time of day.
It keeps going on its own
Six months is what goes in at once, and the calendar refills overnight as time passes — so a standing appointment stays six months ahead rather than running out. Past about half a year every date is a guess about a schedule nobody has written yet, which is why it is a rolling window rather than the whole year.
A date that will not fit
It is listed, not skipped quietly. If the groomer is off on one of the Tuesdays, you are told which date and why, and the rest still go in — four appointments the client has is better than none because one clashed.
They are ordinary appointments
Move one, cancel one, change the groomer on one — it only affects that day. The series does not put a cancelled date back, which is deliberate: the client asked for that.
The client is not texted six confirmations. They agreed to one appointment and a standing arrangement, and a burst of messages is how a salon's number gets muted. Each one still sends its own reminder the day before.
